Dror Teboul

Dror Teboul is a double bass player and composer whose music grows from a deep connection to Andalusian, Arabic, and North African traditions. Driven by an ongoing search for a personal sound through live improvisation, his work is guided by a central idea that unfolds in real time, allowing the music to become a space for exploration rather than a fixed form.

In his original projects, Dror focuses on sound as an evolving process where structure and freedom exist side by side. Each performance is a one-time event, shaped by the moment and the space—an inner narrative finding its unique shape in sound.

Alongside his solo work, Dror performs with the Ashdod Andalusian Orchestra and various ensembles across Israel, constantly exploring the dialogue between tradition and the present moment.
